Description:
Remcon Erectors were awarded 4 projects on the Aksarben Village Phase 4 addition for structural and misc. steel erection services. The four projects consisted of over 220,000 SQ Ft. of commercial and residential space as well as the parking garage. The total tonnage of structural steel was approximately 1,500 tons. Remcon treated each project individually to continue with the General Contractors schedule.

The three commercial structures were standard post and beam frame construction with composite floors and bar joist and deck roof system. The forth structure included misc steel erection such as stair railings, guardrails, and post tension cable guardrails. Due to the complex nature of the design, constant coordination between all subs was required for all structures. Remcon maintained schedule and budget on each building. Remcon’s contract for the entire project was held by the steel fabricator for better coordination of steel fabrication and erection.
